Safe display, tempo and metronome changes take effect immediately. Note-selection filters, range and meter changes are used automatically from the next generated round — no New session required.
Each round shows a new random sequence and time signature for 2 seconds, gives one full-measure count-in, then PluckTheDay plays while you play along. The minimum and maximum position define the allowed fretted area. Open strings remain available unless an active filter excludes their pitch or Exclude open strings is checked. The 4-fret span shortcut sets Maximum to three frets above Minimum (for example V–VIII). Exclude open strings keeps only fretted notes that are playable on the selected strings within the chosen position range. Allow immediate note repeats is enabled automatically only when fewer than two playable notes remain, and switches off again as soon as a second playable note becomes available. With Increase sequence length enabled, the next round adds the selected number of measures. Rhythmic building blocks subdivide each quarter-note beat while preserving the pulse. With Speed up enabled, each new round also increases the tempo by the selected BPM amount. Only open strings is available in Advanced settings. Metronome during exercise can continue the count-in click while you play; choose a half-note, quarter-note, eighth-note or sixteenth-note pulse.

String filter
When enabled, sequences use only E2, A2, D3, G3, B3 and E4. All other Advanced settings are locked until this is switched off.
Omit strings
Turn off strings you want to omit. Only notes playable on the enabled strings are used.
Classical guitar headstock and fingerboard
Optional note filters. They work with both Specified and Free interval mode and can be combined with the selected fret range. Minor keys can use Natural, Harmonic or direction-aware Melodic minor.
